In what ways can I supplement my carbohydrates?

Our body, like a car, has a limited amount of energy. Over time, this energy runs out and our body can no longer function at the same level. With intense exercise, this range is about 45 to 90 minutes. The speed at which our energy runs out depends on several factors, such as the intensity of the activity. If you want to avoid "hunger pangs" during the tour version of the Amstel Gold Race and maintain your performance level, it is important to take in enough carbohydrates. The table gives an indication of the amount of carbohydrates you need, depending on the duration of the effort.
